Emissa

Emissa is carbon accounting software for UK businesses. It takes the bills and invoices a business already has and turns them into an auditable greenhouse gas emissions ledger, UK SRS-aligned disclosures, and reports an assurance provider can check line by line.

Sample collection and test-result tracking for the bodies that regulate horseracing, equestrian and greyhound sport. Each anti-doping sample is scanned in the field and traced through to its result, so the chain of custody is never in doubt.

About

A star to steer by

Steorra is the Old English word for star. For most of history a star was how you knew where you were: a fixed point you could check your position against.

That is what we try to build — software people can check their position against. A carbon figure with its evidence attached. A test result with its chain of custody. A trade that only happened because the rules allowed it.

Steorra Solutions is a software house. We design, build and run bespoke software and our own product, Emissa. Our work includes EventLog, sample collection and test-result tracking for racing regulators; a hire and telematics system for Ardent Hire; and FxBrain, our in-house trading risk supervisor.

Is Emissa a Steorra Solutions product?

Yes. Emissa, the carbon accounting platform at emissa.app, is built and run by Steorra Solutions.

What kinds of systems do you build?

Web and mobile applications, data platforms and integrations — usually systems where the record matters: carbon reporting, sample and test-result tracking, equipment telematics and trading risk controls. If a figure will be checked by an auditor, a regulator or a customer, that is the kind of system we build.

Do you build AI features?

Yes, where AI saves real work — reading documents, classifying, drafting. We keep a person or a hard rule between the model and anything that matters: in Emissa nothing enters the ledger until a person confirms it.
